8 June 2011 Holly went to the Martlesham Heath Police Head Quarters to collect her Certificate of Appreciation from Chief Constable Simon Ash. Her Father Ian also came along with her to the Awards.
13 June BBC Radio Suffolk Lesley Dolphins Sofa Chat Show. Holly was the guest on Lesley’s sofa, she spoke for about 40 minutes. Holly talked about the campaign, her life, working, her hopes for the future etc.
Holly’s campaign was also featured in ‘TEEN NOW’ a magazine for teenage girls. Her story was under the heading ‘Britain’s next top role model.’ Holly found it all very surreal, she would of never imagined to be in a magazine she read when she was younger.
June 28 ‘OLYMPIC TORCH-BEARER NOMINATIONS TO CLOSE’ – Holly had been nominated by Chief Constable Simon Ash of the Suffolk Police to be one of 8,000 people to carry the Olympic torch. Holly was absolutely shocked and stunned to be nominated for something like this! Her first thought was ‘Oh my god have I got to run.’ She is still waiting to hear if she is going to be a Olympic Torch bearer.
Holly has also won a Princess Diana Award, she will be attending the Awards ceremony 26 September 2011.
Holly has also won a ‘Won of the Year’ Award, she will be attending the Awards ceremony 17 October 2011.
Holly met Cherie Blair 18 July 2011. An over whelming experience for Holly and her Mother Angela. Cherie congratulated Holly on winning her National Award and advised her of some people to get in touch with.
