Welcome to the home page of iDontCarryAKnife – I hope you will find this site useful, informative and of some comfort if you are experiencing or have experienced knife related incidents.
The aim of this website is not to scare or hurt people, but to provide an information base for those who want to hear what’s being done to tackle knife-crime and some of the ways to deal with it.
Another aim of this website is to reach out to those people who carry knives and convince them that carrying a knife isn’t acceptable and doesn’t give them automatic protection. Carrying a knife is a negative cycle to get caught up in and this negative cycle needs to be broken. Carrying a knife has almost become a ‘fashionable’ trend and it needs to be stopped. Knives are dangerous weapons.
Everybody has the right to feel safe and secure, whether at work, at home, enjoying a night out with friends, walking down the street, in town, or simply just out shopping.
Follow Holly Watson’s Anti-Knife journey as she campaigns for more public awareness, better education in schools and more to be done to prevent another life being lost in such a tragic way.
